Walking on Water Productions adds a little more famous to Columbia’s “Famously Hot”

Columbia Based Theatre Company Announces National Release of DVD on February 25th

Columbia, SC – On Tuesday, February 25, 2014, WOW (Walking on Water) Productions’ first stage play recorded for DVD, “Yesterday is Still Gone…Or Is It?”, is slated to be released to national retailers as well as online stores nationwide. WOW Productions scored this distribution deal from Atlanta based distributor Maverick Entertainment in January of 2013. Now that the contracts have been signed and the packaging has been approved, the DVD packed full of SC’s homegrown talent including Katrina Blanding (who’s also been seen in Trustus and Workshop Theatre productions), Kayla Baker, Regina Skeeters (Gospel recording artist), CoreyJohn Brown, Rod Lorick, Deon Generette and many others, is ready to hit stores all over the US.

Famously Hot residents will notice shots from our beautiful city in the opening credits and may even catch a glimpse of themselves on the end credits. This DVD is a fully local effort, using original music written and performed by Columbia musicians, cast with local talent, written & produced by WOW Productions and even filmed by a local production company, One7One Productions.

WOW invites the community to come celebrate this momentous occasion at their DVD Release Party being held Saturday, February 22nd at 7pm at the WOW Productions Performing Arts Center (5816 Shakespeare Rd. Ste A, Columbia, SC 29223). Synopsis: For years three friends have worked hard to master smiling while concealing past secrets, deep-seated hatred and an unimaginable deceit so devastating, that it could utterly ruin and destroy the lives of the people they love the most. Amy (Blanding), Terry (Skeeters) and Valerie (Baker) will soon come face to face with their past, as secrets are exposed, family ties are weakened and relationships are put to the ultimate test… Watch as their worlds are suddenly turned upside down as they fight to keep their secrets in the past while trying to convince everyone, including themselves, that “Yesterday is Still Gone.”
