State Museum Welcomes Jared Glover, New Public Relations Manager
COLUMBIA, S.C.— The South Carolina State Museum is proud to announce that Jared Glover has been selected as the museum’s new public relations manager. As the spokesperson for the State Museum, Jared will promote all the great exhibits and events that the museum hosts, handle all public affairs and media relations as well as publish the museum’s quarterly magazine, Images.
Jared joins the State Museum from the City of Columbia where he worked as the senior public relations specialist for 8 years. While at the City of Columbia, Jared served as the public relations contact for various departments including Public Works, Utilities and Engineering, and Parking Services. Prior to his time at the City, Jared worked as the creative services producer at WLTX, the CBS affiliate in Columbia, S.C.
Jared is also one of the Live Draw Talents for the South Carolina Education Lottery and can be seen regularly on seven television stations across South Carolina.

Jared is a native of South Carolina and an active member of the community. He currently serves on the board of the AIDS Benefit Foundation of South Carolina and volunteers with the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization.
