S.C. Chamber, SBA to Present Eleventh Annual Salute to Small Business
2014 Event Will Include Procurement Matchmaker and Business Networking Throughout Morning, Business Awards Luncheon in Afternoon
The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the South Carolina Coalition for Small Business and Entrepreneurship will present the eleventh annual Salute to Small Business on Wednesday, May 7, at the ColumbiaMetropolitanConvention Center in downtown Columbia.
This year’s Salute will once again feature the popular procurement matchmaker sessions throughout the morning, where small businesses can connect one-on-one with buyers from around 30 companies and government agencies, including big-name players like Boeing and Continental Tire. The Salute will also feature a variety of exhibitors and networking opportunities throughout the morning, including access to the designated “Network Space” sponsored by Sam’s Club. The Salute will close with an awards luncheon honoring the winners of the SBA’s South Carolina small business awards in the afternoon.
