Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon recently unveiled a new design for marked patrol vehicles that are used by Lexington County Sheriff’s Department deputies. The design features a color scheme of blue and gold as well as the Sheriff’s Department patrol emblem.

The new design will be installed on marked patrol vehicles as the Sheriff’s Department buys new patrol vehicles to replace marked patrol vehicles that are in the agency’s vehicle fleet, Koon said. The sheriff worked with his staff to create the new design for marked patrol vehicles.

“The design provides a clean, crisp look,” Koon said. “It blends the traditional colors of our agency with a familiar style.”
