New York City—The Network Journal (TNJ,, the New York tri-state area’s premier quarterly magazine for Black professionals, corporate executives and small business owners, today announced that Nika White, Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion; Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce, will be honored at its 18th Annual “40 Under Forty” Achievement Awards Dinner on Thursday, June 18, 2015, in New York City. The awards dinner, themed “Reaching for Higher Goals,” will be hosted by Shon Gables, television personality and social media blogger. Sponsored by WBLS, African American Golfer’s Digest and, it will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Times Square, 1605 Broadway (at 49th Street), from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

“TNJ’s vision of providing a network for young Black professionals in America has not diminished after
eighteen years. We look forward each year to providing a new class of honorees with a platform to reach
and network with like-minded professionals and entrepreneurs,” says Aziz Gueye Adetimirin, The Network
Journal’s founder, publisher and CEO.

Competition for the 40 Under Forty Achievement Awards has become increasingly intense, with the
number of entries growing exponentially each year, and the achievements of the entrants more and more
amazing. TNJ salutes Nika White and all of the 2015 award recipients.

TNJ created the 40 Under Forty Achievement Awards in 1997 to recognize young African-Americans who have proven to be exceptional performers in their industry and committed contributors to the development of their community.
