Katie Bolden For Columbia City Council

Katie Fletcher-Bolden was born in Columbia, South Carolina, on April 30, 1949. She graduated from C.A. Johnson High School, Columbia, South Carolina. She served and later retired as a Financial Advisor with Wachovia Bank for twenty two years. She was appointed in 2000, by the governor Hodges of South Carolina to serve and presently serving as a Commissioner on the board at Midland Technical College, Columbia, South Carolina. She is serving as the founder and president of Life Force “THE LIVING VISION”.

She also served  as a Member on the Board at Harvest Hope Food Bank for several years, Director of the Youth Employment Summer Program for the Richland County Sheriff Department.  Ms. Bolden was honored and recognized by the State of South Carolina, House of Representatives for tireless efforts to improve the lives of people in the community.

Ms. Bolden dedicate her life to her late husband Senior Master Sergeant Elbert Bolden, United States Air Force; her four children, Alisa, Kevin, Michelle and Iric Bolden.
