An Inspirational Message from the Bible Way Church of Atlas Road

And the girl, who was twelve years old, immediately stood up and walked around! They were overwhelmed and totally amazed. Mark 5:42 (NLT, Second Edition)

A Miracle Is Never Late!

Yes, there was a crowd of people who were wailing and even laughing, believing that Jesus could do nothing about Jairus’s daughter, who “the crowd pronounced dead”. What a short memory this crowd had. Surely, the Twitter and Facebook in Decapolis during that time had tweeted and posted Jesus’s raising of the dead widow’s son in the small town of Nain.

Jesus’s three-fold ministry was always teaching, preaching and healing. He endured the crowd’s abuse around Jairus’s home in order to teach an important lesson about hope and trust in Him.

Showing His compassion, Jesus dismissed the crowd and entered the girl’s room with believers including her father, mother, and three disciples. But even more than that, Jesus demonstrated great power over evil spirits and death. Holding the girl’s hand and saying these words, “Talitha cumi,” meaning to arise! Once again, we learn that a miracle is never late. Hallelujah!
