GREENVILLE CHAMBER TO HOST MULTICULTURAL BUSINESS & COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE

(Greenville, SC) The Greenville Chamber will host a Multicultural Business and Community Open House on Tuesday, March 15 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at the Chamber (24 Cleveland Street, Greenville SC 29601). This free event, hosted by the Chamber’s Staff, Board of Directors and Hispanic Business Committee, is an opportunity for multicultural business owners and professionals to learn about the Chamber’s programs and initiatives while connecting with community and business leaders.

This event is being hosted as part of Upstate International Month and will include information about the Chamber’s benefits, key initiatives, and Leadership Development programs, as well as ways to get involved in one of the largest business organizations in the state. Guests will enjoy appetizers and networking, and will also have the opportunity to meet Carlos Phillips, the Chamber’s incoming President and Chief Executive Officer. Phillips is set to assume his new role at the Greenville Chamber in late March.

According to the Chamber’s VP of Diversity and Inclusion Nika White, “We are excited about this opportunity to generate awareness within the multicultural business community of the Chamber’s commitment to effectively assist business leaders in development opportunities to drive economic inclusion.”

Minority businesses will have the opportunity to share their product/service offerings. To participate, firms must pre-register. A special Investor offer will also be available for those who are new to the Greenville Chamber.

Community partners for this event include the Association of Hispanic American Women, Hispanic Alliance, Latino’s United, United Way African-American Leadership Greenville, Urban League of the Upstate, and the South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The event will run from 5:30 to 8:00 pm, with special remarks at 6:30 pm. Registration is online at www.greenvillechamber.org.
