GETHSEMANE WOMAN’S AUXILIARY CELEBRATES 100 YEARS

GETHSEMANE WOMAN’S AUXILIARY — On May 13-17, 2019, the senior women of the Auxiliary will celebrate 100 years of giving and making a difference in the lives of numerous people, both in South Carolina and Kenya, East Africa. 

Worship Services and a Mission Workshop, for both senior and young women, will focus on the theme, “Mature Christian Women: United in Responding to Missions by Renewing the Mind and Refocusing on the Call”.  These events will be held at Zion Canaan Baptist Church, 7820 Farrow Road, Columbia, SC 29203, where Reverend Bobby L. Smith, Sr. is Pastor. The Centennial Banquet will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 7:00pm, at the Brookland Banquet and Conference Center, West Columbia, South Carolina, 29169. Everyone is invited to this Centennial Celebration of the Gethsemane Woman’s Auxiliary, which is spearheaded by Mrs. Jessie H. Chandler, President and Mrs. Helen C. Schumpert, Centennial Celebration Committee Chairperson.
