“I have to say, working with this team energizes me every single day. It is so exciting to witness the skill, insight and intuition that these team members put into their work for our clients and for our community,” says Merritt McNeely, executive vice president at Flock and Rally. “It is a joy and a privilege to work with Ashley, Hailey, Mary Kate and Caitlin, and I am so proud of each of them for their achievements and advancement at our firm.”

Flock and Rally was founded in 2010 and offers a range of services to clients across the South and beyond, from research, branding, strategy and planning to implementation services in marketing, public relations, social media and production management as well as traditional and digital advertising.

“I’m thankful to be a part of this amazing team as we’ve grown over the years, and I’m proud of the thoughtful and creative approach we take at Flock and Rally,” says Ashley Cady Elsey, who was promoted to brand and communications strategist at Flock and Rally. Full-time with Flock and Rally since Nov. 2016, Elsey specializes in content strategy, public relations, brand stewardship and relationship management. In addition to her communications and marketing work, Elsey is an avid content creator and has helped clients like Experience Columbia, SC, The BullStreet District, Carolina Fabricators, the South Carolina State Fair and Richland Library Friends and Foundation by serving as a project manager and creative director for photo and video shoots throughout South Carolina. “It has been so meaningful to see continued success across our team — while never losing sight of our community and where we came from,” says Elsey. She serves on the executive committee of the board of Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR), the executive committee of the board of the Contemporaries of the Columbia Museum of Art and the advisory committee for the Columbia Food and Wine Festival. Hailey Covell, promoted to communications strategist at Flock and Rally, excels at client relations and project management, as well as content creation and maximizing investment in marketing and communications campaigns. “It has been wonderful growing along with Flock and Rally these past few years,” says Covell, who has been with the firm full time since Dec. 2018 and works with clients such as Able South Carolina, The COMET, Motor Supply Co. Bistro, the Congaree Vista Guild and SC Thrive. “I’m excited to continue to grow with the company and work on projects that make an impact in the Columbia, SC community and beyond.” Covell is Flock and Rally’s go-to social media subject matter expert, as she has an eye for emerging trends and content creation for client accounts.
