CVMSDC ‘Best Practices’ ProForum Event

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – On March 31, supplier development purchasing professionals from North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia will participate in a daylong series of activities to identify and reinforce industry best practices at the Carolinas-Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council ProForum event in Davidson, NC. Sponsored by Ingersoll Rand, this peer-to-peer professional development seminar will present an assembly for open discussion about key strategies and Best Practices among Corporate and Government purchasing agents to implement or improve minority supplier programs.

Priscilla Wallace, CVMSDC Director of Corporate Services, said, “The annual CVMSDC ProForum event presents an excellent opportunity for Corporate and Government members of the Council to share information, exchange ideas, and take away tangible solutions for successful implementation of their supplier diversity programs.” ProForum participants will address a number of table-top issues throughout the course of the day, which are designed to encourage and facilitate engaging dialogue among members and build diversity initiatives to sustain the ever-changing supply chain.

The theme for this year’s ProForum is: Reflect, Re-Fuel and Elevate the Brand. The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ingersoll Rand offices, located at 800 Beaty Street in Davidson, NC. The event is only open to CVMSDC Corporate and Government members.
