Councilwoman Devine Recognized in Class of 2018 Women of Influence

Recently, Councilwoman Tameika Isaac Devine was one of 22 outstanding women from the Midlands recognized for their role in business, education and government.

“I am so honored to have been recognized this year as a woman of influence in the Midlands in the area of business. I am humbled to be a part of this prestigious group of women who are movers and shakers in various professions. The recognition of these dynamic women goes to the heart of what Columbia is about,” Councilwoman Devine said.

Each year, the Columbia Regional Business Report honors a group of women who are setting the pace in their professional careers as well as working to make the Midlands a better place. They were nominated by readers and selected by a panel of judges.

Among this year’s honorees are professionals in nonprofits, architecture, real estate, banking, law, marketing, college administration and biofuels. A profile of each honoree was published in the July 16 issue of the Columbia Regional Business Report.
