COLUMBIA, SC – The City of Columbia proclaimed November 18th, as “Cornbread Classic Day” in recognition of the new addition to the South Carolina Cornbread Festival taking place on Saturday, March 28, 2015. The Cornbread Classic is the official cornhole tournament of the SC Cornbread Festival. A portion of the proceeds from the Cornbread Classic and Cornbread Festival will be donated to local domestic violence prevention organizations.
In partnership with NCBA, the Cornbread Classic will be officiated by BoardSpaces, a woman-owned small business, located in Charleston, South Carolina. They are certified officials for the American Cornhole Organization and certified Tournament Directors for Cornhole Players Association.
Sponsored by the North Columbia Business Association, the Annual SC Cornbread Festival has brought together families from across the State to North Columbia for a day of food, fun, family and friendly competition since 2013.
