Black-owned, family-friendly business aims to add new energy to the Midlands
COLUMBIA – Columbia residents can now capture the perfect selfie at Selfie Mania, Columbia’s first selfie museum. The 2,500 square foot venue hosted its grand opening at its Columbia Place Mall location (second floor directly across from Macy’s).
The museum features 15 themed, interactive selfie pods, phone stands and lighting equipment for guests to enjoy. The space also serves as a photography studio, private event space and recording studio for social media and brand influencers.
With the growing trend of similar museums opening in other states, Selfie Mania’s owner, Conetta Griffin knew that she wanted to open a selfie museum in the Midlands.
“We are in a familiar location with a unique concept, and I’m excited for customers to experience all that we have to offer,” said Griffin.
Selfie Mania will be open Monday thru Thursday, by appointment only. Walk-ins are welcome Friday thru Sunday.
Mask wearing is required when guests are not taking photos and social distancing guidelines are encouraged.
