City of Columbia’s “Spooktacular Block Party”

WHAT: Bring the family out for the City of Columbia’s “Spooktacular Block Party” for an evening of fun, terror, games and more. The “Spooktacular Block Party” will be held on Taylor Street beside Finlay Park and will feature a costume contest, jugglers, stilt walker, carnival games, food trucks, exhibitors, interactive inflatables, a pumpkin patch and more!

The event also includes the “Tunnel of Terror.” Gates open at 6:30 p.m. at the Lady Street entrance. Tickets are $3 per person. The “Tunnel of Terror” is recommended for ages 12 and up.

WHERE: On Taylor Street (Beside Finlay Park, 930 Laurel Street)

WHEN: 7 to 10 p.m. October 31, 2014

COST: Admission to the “Spooktacular Block Party” is free. There is a charge of $3 per person for the “Tunnel of Terror.” Ticket prices for the carnival games including the interactive inflatables will vary. Guests can receive $1 off the ticket prices (tunnel, games and inflatables) per person with the donation of three non-perishable food items to benefit Harvest Hope Food Bank.
