CHA accepting applications Twenty Eighth Annual Wall of Fame Ceremony

Columbia, S.C. – The Columbia Housing Authority (CHA) is currently accepting applications for the Twenty Eighth Annual Wall of Fame Ceremony.  Previous honorees include an impressive list of individuals who at one time resided in the CHA.

Applications can be picked up at the Columbia Housing Authority’s main office located at 1917 Harden Street; at the Columbia Housing Authority’s Resident Programs Department office located at 1915 Harden or applications can be downloaded from the CHA website at www.chasc.org.

Applications will be accepted now  through January 16, 2015. For additional questions please contact Donna Jones-Gilbert or Faye Daniels at 254-3886 ext. 330 and ext. 344.

“The Wall of Fame is the biggest event on the CHA’s calendar and we look forward to preparing for it every year,” said Gilbert Walker, CHA Executive Director.

The CHA oversees almost 5,000 conventional public housing units and rental assistance contracts throughout Richland County.  The CHA is the third oldest housing authority in the nation and has continuously been recognized by HUD for its successful housing and education programs.
