Central Carolina Community Foundation Accepting 6th Annual Best of Philanthropy Awards Nominations
(Columbia, S.C.): Central Carolina Community Foundation, the Midland’s expert on philanthropy, is seeking nominations for the 6th Annual Best of Philanthropy Awards. The Best of Philanthropy Awards honor ordinary people in the Midland’s community who make giving back a priority and in doing so, make a significant impact in our community.
“There are many unsung heroes making a difference in our community and we want to recognize them for their gifts.” says JoAnn Turnquist, President and CEO of Central Carolina Community Foundation. “We encourage members of the community to help us shine a spotlight on these everyday philanthropists by nominating their friends, co-workers, associates-anyone who is making a significant contribution to our community by helping others.”
Best of Philanthropy Award winners will be honored with a $1,000 donation made in their name to the nonprofit organization they choose in the Foundation’s 11-county service area. All winners will also be recognized at the Foundation’s annual celebration on November 5, 2015 and featured in the November issue of Columbia Metropolitan Magazine.
