BLYTHEWOOD- Blythewood High Environmental Science teacher Michael Varnadore has been chosen as the 2017 Senior Teacher of the Year. Members of each graduating class select one Teacher of the Year, and Varnadore has now been honored for six consecutive years.

“I am humbled with this award. Receiving it once was amazing, but receiving it for 6 STRAIGHT years, I’m speechless,” Varnadore said. “I am truly blessed, as I love what I do, and I look forward to each day with my students.”

Known as “Mr. Vee” to his students, Varnadore will be recognized Friday, May 19 at the Senior Assembly that will be held in the BHS gym beginning at 9 a.m.
