Beta Beta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Unveils Honorary Street Sign

Recently  Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Beta Beta Zeta Chapter unveiled their Honorary Street Sign, Beta Beta Zeta Way. The new signage is located at the 900 and 1000 blocks of Pine Street noted between Senate and Starks Streets.

Chapter President Tonia Johnson Alston, along with Beta Beta Zeta Street Sign Organizer Dr. Leslie Hodges-Jackson, and Mrs. Claire Porter were instrumental in working with City Councilman Ed McDowell, Jr., to make this honorary street sign a reality.

The ladies of Beta Beta Zeta are forever thankful to, Mayor Steve Benjamin and the City Council Members for allowing them to honor the legacy of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and the women that secured the “Zeta House,” at 1010 Pine Street.
