Barbara D. Willm, Vice President, Community Relations Lexington Medical Center

Barbara Willm serves as Vice President, Community Relations for the Lexington County Health Services District. In her role, Barbara is responsible for LMC’s Community Outreach efforts while representing the MedicalCenter in our community.
Barbara has served the medical center in several roles during the past 27 years, including Vice President – Community Medical Centers. In this capacity, she helped open all of LMC’s six community medical centers, and has played a vital leadership role in each of these communities across LexingtonCounty. She holds a BSN degree from the University of South Carolina.
Barbara is active on the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce Board, serving as Chairman 2002-2003, and was awarded their Ambassador of the Year award in 2005. She is a Past Chair of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce Board (2011-2012) as well as Past Chair of the Leadership Lexington County Board. Barbara currently serves on The Free Medical Clinic Board, Lexington County Economic Development Board, Navigating Good to Great Board, and is chair of Saluda Shoals Foundation Board. Barbara is also a member of the AmericanCollege of Healthcare Executives.
Barbara resides in Irmo with her husband Dale. They have two (2) children, Hallie age twenty three (23), a second year student at USC School of Law and Robert age nineteen (19), a sophomore at PresbyterianCollege.
