“All White Wine & Jazz Concert” Scholarship Fundraiser

Pictured Dante Lewis.

The “All White Wine & Jazz Concert” is being hosted by the National Association of College Deans, Registrars and Admissions, Inc. (NACDRAO), which was established in 1925 for the purpose of disseminating information, exchanging ideas, and sharing issues on leadership policy and procedures. NACDRAO identifies and promotes standards and best practices affecting deans, registrars, admissions officers, and student services professionals (i.e. recruitment, financial aid, student support services and residence life). NACDRAO has worked hard to find innovative ways to bring in revenues to assist the needs of underprivileged and underserved students wanting to seek a degree beyond high school.

The “All White Wine & Jazz Concert” has been organized for Sunday, September 1, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at DOKO Manor in Blythewood, SC to raise scholarship funds for students who attend a member HBCU. Students who meet the scholarship requirements established by NACDRAO’s Scholarship Committee, can apply for a scholarship in their Freshman year. Based on the funds available, two to three scholarships will be offered starting in the 2020 academic year. Our hope is that these scholarships will change the lives of future recipients by assisting them with their academic financial needs.

This concert will feature 2-time Grammy winner, Paul Brown and our on Dante Lewis. Paul has written and produced 60 #1 hits and has had 7 solo projects over the past 12 years. He has performed with R & B legends such as Diana Ross, Luther Vandross and Aretha Franklin. He’s best known for his deep funk and cool urban vibes and he has performed at venues all over the world. We are very fortunate to have Paul in Columbia, SC.

Dante Lewis is a native of South Carolina and has built a huge fan base all over the country. While Dante is well known for smooth jazz, contemporary urban jazz and jazz/gospel realm, he has completed over 3 solo projects. Dante engages his audience with his performance. Paul and Dante performed together in April 2016 in Columbia, SC. The two artists are sure to put on a superior performance for this great fundraising cause.
