A Decade of Dedicated Devotion Gala to raise funds of scholarships and Honor Rev. Johnny Ray Noble, Ph.D.

The Edgewood Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to educating, equipping, and empowering the citizens of the Edgewood Community in Columbia, South Carolina. For over 18 years, the Foundation has worked to make a positive change in the lives of those it serves through a variety of programs focused on youth development, literacy, tutorial, summer enrichment, cultural arts, and recreational activities.

To support the Foundations efforts to encourage and foster educational opportunities, a gala,” A Decade of Dedicated Devotion” will be hosted to raise funds for scholarships and recognize one the City’s major advocates of education, community and Christian values, Rev. Johnnie Ray Noble, Ph.D., Pastor of the Second Nazareth Baptist Church.

“We believe Pastor Noble’s Decade of Dedicated Devotion should be recognized and applauded for this commitment to the Edgewood Foundation, Community and the City. He has been instrumental in the direction and growth of the Edgewood Foundation, the expansion of a Richland County Library in the Edgewood Community and programs such as; Unity in the Community which has distributed thousands of packs of school supplies and has serviced hundreds of students during summer camp and afterschool programs”, said Anna Davis, Executive Director, Edgewood Foundation.

These efforts are expected to raise over $10,000.00 dollars. The gala will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Columbia Conference Center, 169 Laurelhurst Ave., Columbia. SC 29210. For more information and to purchase tickets, contact Mrs. Anna Davis at (803) 251-8465 or annamdavis@edgewood-foundation.org.
