More Than 50 Employers with Available Jobs Set To Attend Hiring Our Heroes on Feb. 11

COLUMBIA, SC – The Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce and the business community are coming together to support local veterans and military families at the Hiring Our Heroes employment fair. This one-of-a-kind employment fair will kick-off on Tuesday, February 11 at 10:00 a.m. at FortJackson.

There will be an opening ceremony with invited guests Governor Nikki Haley, Brigadier General Bradley Becker and Major General Bob Livingston. It will be held at the SolomonCenter, located at 6510 Strom Thurmond Blvd., FortJackson, and the employment fair will last until 1 p.m.

In addition to the employment fair, there will be a workshop for veterans and other military job seekers that focuses on resume writing, tips for successfully navigating fairs, military skill translation and interviewing will start at 9 a.m. To register for the Hiring Our Heroes Employment Workshop, click here.

Employers and job seekers must pre-register at HoH.GreatJob.net. Job seekers attending the fair are urged to upload their resume prior to the event, as it will be distributed to employers the week of the hiring fair.
