100 Black Women will Host Richland County’s Property Tax Team
The Columbia Chapter of the 100 Black Women will sponsor a Tax Symposium with Richland County’s Tax Auditor Paul Brawley and Assessor Liz McDonald at its inaugural advocacy property tax symposium. Its goal is to empower, educate and to provide transparency and answers to questions such as:
** Is your house is being fairly taxed?
** Are you paying more property taxes than your house is worth?
** Will your house sell for its taxable value?
** Do you qualify for any property tax exemptions?
** What is the appeal process to get your property taxes reduced?
To get answers to these questions, PROPERTY OWNERS, LANDLORDS AND PROSPECTIVE HOME BUYERS are invited to attend:
