The First Tee of Columbia Spring Golf Sessions

The First Tee of Columbia at the James E. Clyburn Golf Center is now accepting registrations for its Spring Junior Golf sessions for children ages 5-17.

Coaches will introduce participants to the game of golf through The First Tee curriculum. Participants will learn golf skills, the rules of the game and The Nine Core Values such as Sportsmanship, Honesty and Responsibility.

Registration Information

WHAT: Peewees (new or returning participants)

AGES: 5-6

DATES: March 13-May 1

WHEN: Tuesdays from 5:15-6 p.m. or from 6:15-7 p.m.

FEE: $20

This level is limited to 15 participants.

WHAT: Player

AGES: 7-17

DATES: March 14-May 2 or March 17-May 5

WHEN: Wednesdays from 5:15-6:15 p.m. or 6:30-7:30 p.m. or Saturdays from 8:30-9:30 a.m.

FEE: $50

Open to all first time participants or those who have yet to reach PAR certification.

WHAT: Par

DATES: March 15-May 3

WHEN: Thursdays 5:15-6:15 or 6:30-7:30 p.m.

FEE: $50

Must be a certified PLAYer to participate

WHAT: Birdie (Must a CERTIFIED PAR to participate)

DATES: March 17 – May 5

WHEN: Saturdays 10:30 a.m. -12 p.m.

FEE: $50

No equipment is needed. Financial scholarships are available for those who qualify.

The deadline to register is Friday, February 23, 2018. Sessions will be held at the golf center located at 2091 Slighs Avenue.
