Midlands Technical College Wins Five Regional Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Communications
The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District Two awarded Midlands Technical College five Medallion Awards for outstanding achievement in marketing and communications. The Medallion Awards are the only regional competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges.
“Midlands Technical College marketing and communications play a critical role in achieving the college’s strategic goals of growing the college and raising private support,” said MTC President Dr. Ronald L. Rhames. “This helps students, parents, and business partners see why Midlands Technical College is a first-choice destination for higher education.”
MTC received three Gold Medallion Awards for its class schedule, academic catalog, and annual president’s report. The college received Silver Awards in the brochure and outdoor media categories. NCMPR’s District Two represents all two-year colleges in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, and The Bahamas.
NCMPR is an affiliate of the American Association of Community Colleges and is the leading professional development organization exclusively serving two-year college communicators.
