Antjuan Seawright Receives Charleston NAACP Presidential Award
Charleston, SC – Public relations executive and political strategist Antjuan Seawright, 32, was presented with the Charleston NAACP’s Presidential Award at the group’s 100th Anniversary Banquet on Saturday night in Charleston.
Seawright, who resides in Columbia and is the founder and CEO of Blueprint Strategy, LLC, was given the award because of his service and dedication to the mission of the organization and work with the Charleston branch. Vice President Joe Biden was the keynote speaker at the banquet and assisted with the presenting of the awards.
“It is a true honor and privilege to be given such a prestigious award by the state’s oldest chapter of the NAACP,” said Seawright. “The NAACP continues to do meaningful work in communities across the state and country to make progress a reality in the lives of men and women of color. I am truly humbled to accept this award on behalf of the pioneers who have come before me and opened so many doors for my generation. I look forward to working alongside the great men and women of the NAACP for years to come.”
He is a 2008 graduate of Winthrop University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing, and a 2010 graduate of Webster University where he received his Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).
